Owen Sound Alliance Church
The Christian and Missionary Alliance holds what it calls the fourfold gospel, presenting Christ as Saviour, Sanctifier, Healer and Coming King. It is an evangelical body with a strong missionary emphasis, which is what it was founded for.
Owen Sound Alliance Church is on 7th Avenue East, on the east side of the river between the downtown and the hospital. It belongs to the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada.
One service is held each Sunday at ten, in person and live-streamed. The Alliance began in the 1880s as two missionary societies rather than a denomination, and its congregations still give an unusually large share of their budgets to overseas work; its summary of the faith is the fourfold gospel, which presents Christ as Saviour, Sanctifier, Healer and Coming King.
