Trinity Church Owen Sound
Trinity says it exists to love God wholeheartedly and to love others as themselves, takes Scripture as the foundation of its faith, recognizes the spiritual gifts given by the Holy Spirit, and sets out to proclaim the gospel locally and globally. It takes Galatians 2:20 as its text: 'I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.'
Trinity Church meets on the far side of the Pottawatomi River, at the north end of 4th Avenue West, in the gymnasium of Timothy Christian School. It does not own a building of its own, and the address it gives is the school’s.
One gathering is held each Sunday at ten. The church tells anyone coming for the first time to use the north or south parking lot, take a coffee on the way in and sit down as the music starts; the hour combines sung worship with teaching and a passage of Scripture read and then discussed.
The congregation states no denominational affiliation. It describes its aim as loving God wholeheartedly and loving others as themselves, and takes the words of Galatians 2:20 as its text.
