Southend Fellowship Baptist Church

Southend Fellowship states its purpose in four phrases: love God, love others, be discipled, make disciples. It adds 'real people, real life, real change', and says it believes anyone's story can change when they meet Jesus. Baptists baptize believers rather than infants and each congregation governs itself.

Southend Fellowship Baptist Church is on 2nd Avenue Southeast, at the south end of the city where the avenue runs out towards Georgian Bluffs. It is one of the two Baptist congregations in the city, and the only one that holds more than one service on a Sunday.

The same service is offered twice on Sunday morning, at nine and at a quarter to eleven, with childcare at both and a live stream for anyone who cannot attend. Alongside the services the church runs life groups through the week and a set of ministry teams.

It is listed among the churches served by FEB Central, the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Central Canada, which is a different Baptist body from the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec that First Baptist downtown belongs to.
